ROLE OF PARTICIPANTS

• Make every effort to attend all sessions and provide ample notice if you aren’t able to attend.
• Come prepared to discuss and actively participate in the discussion and assorted interactive learning events.
• You don’t need to make any commitment to taking the test, but you should be able to make a commitment to the success of the study group and your own professional development.
• Recognize that all participants come to the group with their own knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Connect with other participants to facilitate additional exam study time outside of the co-hort for those perusing the credentials.
• Update the wiki with helpful resources and tools and email the group with updates.

ROLE OF FACILITATORS

• We will make every effort to attend all sessions and provide ample notice if we aren’t able to attend.
• Provide opportunities for continuous learning and practical application of knowledge.
• Make ourselves available outside of the designated study group time for those wanting more personal time to discuss particular topics or issues.
• Support participants in connecting for additional exam study time outside of the co-hort for those perusing the credentials.

CO-HORT LENDING LIBRARY
Through the Austin ASTD chapter and cohort, the group has acquired three sets of books that we can lend to participants. The book systems are very costly and cannot be purchased individually. Please be good stewards of the lending library to allow us to continue to loan books to other participants by returning them on time and in good condition. The cohort lending policy requires:

• Your contribution of $75 to the cohort in advance of book borrowing.
• Borrowing of no more than two books at one time.
• Return of all outstanding books at every session, regardless of your attendance (arrange ahead of time to return the book if you cannot attend).
• Coordination among participants for multiple people borrowing books.
• Responsibility to pay for any lost or not returned books assumed by the borrower.
